It shows the domain, up to 140 characters of plain-text copy you supply, and an optional link marked as sponsored. Sponsors pay for placement, not a rating. Sponsorship does not affect Domainsfolio valuation or organic rank.

Who is eligible to sponsor a domain?

The registered owner of the domain, or a broker with written authorization from the owner. Every applicant must complete ownership or broker verification before a placement can go live. Unsafe, prohibited, misleading, or unverifiable domains are rejected or removed.

What does a sponsored domain placement cost and how long does it run?

A sponsored domain placement costs $99 per domain and runs for four weeks (28 days). The pilot has 6 manually managed slots, so at most six domains are listed at a time. Applying is free and commits you to nothing. Payment is requested only after a person has approved the placement and verified that you own the domain or are its authorized broker; it is invoiced and settled outside Domainsfolio, which never handles card details. The $99 covers the manual review and verification behind each slot, not audience reach that the pilot cannot yet prove. When the run ends you receive a placement report with page views, outbound clicks, and your run dates, and you can book a further four weeks by replying to that report. If Domainsfolio fails to deliver the placement, you are refunded or the run is extended.

How are sponsored placements reviewed and disclosed?

Every sponsored placement is reviewed by a person before it goes live. The review checks that the domain is safe and not misleading, that the copy makes no editorial claim, and that the applicant is the registrant or holds written broker authorization; ownership is verified with a DNS record, and Domainsfolio never asks for registrar passwords, EPP codes, or transfer codes. Payment is confirmed before activation. Once live, every placement carries the visible label “Sponsored”, an “Asking” price stated by the sponsor or “Price on request”, and the disclosure that sponsors pay for placement, not a rating. Links to the sponsor are marked rel="sponsored". Placements are never described as recommended, top picks, best, premium, or featured, and no placement can change a valuation or an organic ranking anywhere on Domainsfolio. If a promised placement is not delivered, the sponsor is refunded or the placement is made good.

Is Domainsfolio a domain marketplace?

No. Domainsfolio is a portfolio tool for domain investors, and the sponsored domains page is a small, paid, clearly labelled listing page — not a marketplace. There is no on-site search for buyers, no offer system, no escrow, and no transfer service. A visitor who is interested in a listed domain contacts the sponsor through the sponsor’s own listing or contact page, which is linked from the card and marked as a sponsored link. Sponsors pay for placement, not a rating, and nothing about a placement changes any valuation or organic ranking on Domainsfolio.

What does sponsorship not influence or guarantee?

Sponsorship buys defined exposure only. It does not change any Domainsfolio valuation, organic ranking, recommendation, or confidence score, and it is never described as recommended, a top pick, best, premium, or featured. No ranking, valuation, lead, offer, or sale is guaranteed.
